My First Wedding!

This was my officially first paid wedding and I had a very nice time shooting it. The wedding was small and intimate. I felt comfortable meeting with the family and taking the photographs. Even though my true passion is children and family portraits, I really did enjoy this assignment! I am getting caught up on my blogging as I have been a little behind due to many photo sessions lately. I try to keep my Facebook up to date with at least quick sneak peaks, so if you have not liked my facebook, I recommend doing so at Crystal Rose Photos.

I am really excited to announce I am going to Chicago this summer to take a workshop from a wonderful photographer and can't wait to share all that I learn with my clients! I am also updated my gear in the next week and am really exciting to begin shooting with better quality camera gear! Please stay on the look out for some new looks for my business and maybe even a new name!!! So much more to come.

Birthday Time!

I had the most amazing time at this birthday celebration! I was so excited when I was asked to photograph this party! 80 years of life being celebrated with so many people! The birthday girl looked ravishing in her pink attire all dolled up for a wonderful party at Mansion View an old historic B & B in The Old West End! Just loved the setting and all the people who attended. Many thanks to Craig and Kory for thinking of me to share such a wonderful occasion!

Spring Musical

Wow! I have had so much fun these last two weeks! I had the pleasure of spending several days at a local H.S. shooting their spring musical. It was so much fun seeing all the ins and outs, plus behind the scenes of the production. The kids were so talented and I took over 900 pictures. I just picked a few below to show some of the fun that was had!

I hope to post a few more pictures over the next few days of the great 80th birthday I shot as well as a beautiful wedding this week. Between updating my facebook page and my blog, I keep busy trying to show up to date shots of what I have been up to! Thanks for continuing to share the fun with me!
