Day 4

I probably should go get my recycling out before they come.
I haven't put this yet, but I am a huge garbage fanatic.  I get this from my dad.  Any day that is garbage or recycle I like to get EVERYTHING possible out of the house!

Well as the Summer comes to a close a quick recap of our summer!

We started off up at Bear Lake, then headed to Virginia Beach, back to Cub Lake and then off to Lakeside.  It was a whirl win, but so very much fun.  I think it was one of the best summers we had.  Kids did swim team, softball, baseball, tennis and are now ready to head  into the fall!  We will miss you summer, but you won't be forgotten!

IDEAS FOR YOUR KIDS PICTURES!

You can actually take pictures of your kids pictures and make a book out of them. This is a great way to keep them forever without having to take up a bunch of storage.

You can frame some of your best pieces in your home along with other pictures in a collage.

You can take the art work and line a stairwell with it.  I use mine going down to the basement.  The kids love seeing all their artwork displayed.

Or you can even add their art on a window!  Make it like a stained glass window at a Church!  They are always so beautiful there, why not make your home look like!

Last but not least you can wait for bins to go on sale after Christmas to hold the artwork when you receive home from their schools!

Day 3

OK SO THIS IS THE BIG THING OF THE DAY!!!

Went to set up Madison for Jr. High this morning.  So much new life ahead.  All the activities as well as the freedom for them.  It took us like ummm 25 times of doing her lock to get it to open!  Haha, they really should move to something a little more electronic now a days. She got her school pictures and signed up for all her classes.  She is going to have a full plate!

JUST 4 days away to Blake's big 9th birthday party!  My Mother-In-Law has really wanted to have a great party for Blake this year. Last year Blake had to forfeit his birthday party due to his behavior over the summer.  So this year Nana wanted to make it double special for him and has a lot in mind for the party.  It is all sports related and the kids where asked to come in sport gear!  What I wanted to share is if you haven't every used EVITE, I highly recommend it for any type of party you may want to host.  Below is the link that I put together for his party, extra easy, free and very efficient for responses.

This is one of the fun things they are going to be doing!  Pinata time!!!

Had fun doing supply shopping for Maddie.  We are lucky as Blake gets all his through school.  We just had to pay the fee and the school does all the shopping for us!  So convenient.  But apparently this stops after 6th grade.  A good friend recommended that we go to Office Max as you can put all supplies in brown bag and get 20% off.  Well that ended last week,  ughhh I hate when I miss  a sale that I needed!  So we arrive the 3 kids and I and Ken is there to greet us!  He is a sales floor employee at Office Max and is a little quirky.

Yes just like this!  He wouldn't take no for an answer.  So he is running around the store for us getting us our index cards, colored pencils, paper and you name it.  He was like our personal shopper!  He wouldn't even help other people b/c he was helping us.  So after we get all our stuff, Thanks Ken, we are in line to check out.  Well of a sudden Ken appears at the register and is there to check us out.  How convenient I must say!  Well he gets a call and starts talking to a customer on the phone, this gets him in a tizzy.  He puts the call on hold and does a PA announcement saying "We need back up at the register big time"  Too funny!  Then to boot, some of my stuff didn't ring up right and he is demanding of Maddie to go get the right stuff!  It was quite the experience.  We then head to Target and I find some of the stuff I just  bought cheaper.  So needless to say, I am going to have to head back to Office Max to return.  Ahhh, sometimes I am not sure of all the trying to save pennies I do is worth it :-(

NEW PHONE TOMORROW!!!
